TIAHUANACO aka.TIWANAKU. Estimated to be over 17,000 years old. The site of a technology advanced culture. Here is a a link with interesting facts: www.viewzone.com/tiax.html The stories and myths told: INTI, the Incan god of the sun came down from the sky ( therefor some of the theories he came out of space :) ). His mother was VIRACOCHA, God / creator of all things and creator of the Incas.The picture shows the Gate of the sun, the sun rises through it and it was said to be a place of worship.

What did you like about this place? You post a lot of facts, which are interesting, but what makes it of interest to you?
ReplyDeleteTihuanaco is part of Bolivia's history, and living there made it a must see. I find it fascinating, this old advanced architecture. I marvel at the fact that they had no power tools to build all this. Incas did not leave any written records, we can just put together the pieces we get from historians, and the legends and myths passed down from generations.
